The first time you open the game, it will take some time to start and you might see a black screen for a while. This is a repack of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and includes almost all game’s expansion and stuff packs (a few packs are missing such as IKEA Home Stuff). There will now be a Sims 2 icon on your desktop! Right click it and select run as administrator to run the game (always run the game as an administrator). 
Go into the Redist folder and install “ dxwebsetup.exe” by double clicking on it and going through the setup. Click on install and wait for the game to finish installing. 
Open the folder called “Game Files” found inside of the extracted folder and double click on the Setup.exe file. If you don’t know how to extract files, see this article: Extract the “The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection” folder to your desktop. Click on the download button and download The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection.rar. Also make sure that you disable your antivirus before installing the game. Make sure you have uninstalled all older versions of The Sims 2 games, including registry entries, and make sure there is no “EA Games” folder in your Documents folder (if you do then delete it). On the left side of the screen, look for Advanced menu and make sure that the Include Custom Content box has a check mark in it to see creations that include CC.We might have the game available for more than one platform. Open the Gallery (F4 key shortcut) and select the My Library tab. It is on by default but you can use the command "tm.moveobjects off" to disable it. To enable, go to game options > other > and check the Script Mod box and restart TS4. To install, simply copy "tmex-moveobjects.zip" into the Mods folder. MoveObjects On - Some house creations require this script in order to place the lot properly. Simply refresh your Library and it will appear right away. You don't have to restart the game every time you install a new creation. After you copied the files in their designated folder, the downloaded content are ready and now available for use in game. You will also see a config file named Resource.CFG, which basically allows users to add third-party content. package format should be placed inside the Mods folder.
